As a Finance Manager for Manufacturing Operations at Swire Pacific Holdings Inc., you will serve as a vital financial partner across various production facilities, overseeing significant annual outputs and expenditures.
Role Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering financial insights and leadership to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
- Communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
- Conducting thorough month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial analyses, presenting comprehensive results to both local and senior management.
- Fostering a culture of financial accountability within the manufacturing environment, providing training and support to plant leadership.
- Monitoring and reporting on budget variances, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Analyzing manufacturing performance through actual data outcomes, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Leading the forecasting process at the site level, collaborating with plant leadership to achieve business objectives.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the manufacturing general ledger and presenting monthly insights on profit and loss, variances, labor analysis, and capital expenditures.
- Developing the annual site budget in collaboration with local leadership, aiming for operational efficiencies.
- Implementing performance metrics and working with plant leadership on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing a substantial capital budget for manufacturing, including ROI development and post-implementation evaluations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing context.
- Exceptional financial expertise, particularly in analytical skills and cost/management accounting.
