Position Summary:

The Pilot Engineer plays a crucial role in executing pilot performance evaluations of process technologies at various water and wastewater treatment facilities across the nation. This position entails a travel commitment of approximately 75-80%.

The primary responsibility of the Pilot Engineer is to simulate full-scale plant operations through pilot testing, showcasing the effectiveness of our technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of all pilot equipment and trailers throughout the duration of pilot studies, ensuring the availability of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with the Pilot Group Manager, Process Group, and Regional Sales Manager to formulate a strategic plan for each pilot study.
  • Coordinate all activities related to assigned pilot studies, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Conduct comprehensive pilot studies as outlined in the pilot protocol.
  • Facilitate tours of pilot equipment, introducing the processes to plant personnel.
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate performance data from pilot studies.
  • Prepare detailed reports that outline procedures, results, and conclusions from each study.
  • Manage and interpret all data collected during studies, effectively communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships between clients and the company.
  • Submit expense reports promptly.
Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Laboratory analysis experience is preferred but not mandatory.
