Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to assist our experienced craft workers in performing their assigned duties. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our projects by providing support and assistance to our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools.
  • Mop, brush, or spread paint or bituminous compounds over surfaces and apply caulking compound by hand or with a caulking gun to seal surfaces.
  • Lift, carry, and hold building materials and supplies, level earth to fine grade using a pick and shovel, and measure distances from grade stakes.
  • Grind, sand, and polish surfaces such as concrete or wood.
  • Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should be able to:

  • Follow specific instructions.
  • Perform a variety of duties that change often.
  • Repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedures.
  • Work within a standard of accuracy.
  • Evaluate information using measurable standards.

You must also be physically able to:

  • Stand and walk for long periods.
  • Use arms and hands to reach for handles and manipulate objects.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing 100 pounds.
  • Climb up and down ladders, scaffolding, and other objects.
  • Carry tools and equipment.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see, and hear (naturally or with correction).

A valid driver's license is also required.
