Job Title: Business Development Representative

Description:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Matt Springer - State Farm Agent. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing customer relationships and following up with customers as needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to use their knowledge of State Farm insurance products to recommend and explain policies to cold and warm leads.

You will receive a salary plus commission/bonus and paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days). Growth potential and opportunities for advancement within the agency are also available.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Use your knowledge of State Farm insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements:

  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening.
  • People-oriented.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Proactive in problem solving.
  • Able to learn computer functions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
