Senior Living Wellness Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Living Wellness Care Professional to join our team at Experience Senior Living. As a key member of our health and wellness team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all aspects of decision making as a Servant Leader
- Assume the role of Charge Nurse in the absence of the Executive Director and Director of Health & Wellness
- Contribute to all aspects of medication management, including orders, administration, storage, documentation, and adherence to state regulations and company policies
- Ensure resident rooms and common areas are always clean and safe
- Train care partners and medication assistants on resident conditions and provide effective, professional, and sensitive care
- Assist residents with self-medication or administration of medications
- Document daily recommendations and provide limited nursing license support (if applicable)
- Implement plans of care recommended by the Resident Wellness Director and respond to changes in resident condition
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of all care provided to residents
- Complete resident charting in the electronic health record and assist with assessments as scheduled or with changes in condition
- Report accidents and incidents as required
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and responsible parties
- Prepare for and manage emergency situations, including disasters, fires, and other emergencies
- Ensure adequate and trained care partners and medication assistants are available for each shift, within company and state guidelines
Requirements:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse license (LVN/LPN preferred)
- Two years' experience in a senior living environment preferred
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification
- Successful completion of all company-specified training programs
- Effective communication skills and strong organizational abilities
