Electromechanical Technician

By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate assembly of sub-electro and mechanical components for builds into higher level assemblies, adhering to IPC standards and By Light workmanship requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and be able to operate power and hand tools used in an Electro/Mechanical environment. They will also be able to accurately complete sub and higher-level assembly builds working from moderate to complex drawings and work instructions.
The role requires a moderate level of computer proficiency, as well as the ability to troubleshoot mechanical failure modes and use test equipment, jigs and fixtures to validate product quality and reliability.
The successful candidate will be a team player, committed to continuous improvement and willing to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying mechanical knowledge to perform routine tasks
- Operating power and hand tools used in an Electro/Mechanical environment
- Accurately completing sub and higher-level assembly builds
- Troubleshooting mechanical failure modes
- Using test equipment, jigs and fixtures to validate product quality and reliability
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to complete on-the-job training and perform well in a capabilities' evaluation.
