The Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are executed and maintained according to the standards set by the Company and Client, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and effective management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with a team of cabling and telecommunications technicians.
- Organize and manage site logistics, ensuring that all necessary equipment and information are available to meet project timelines.
- Provide hands-on technical and administrative oversight while supervising large teams.
- Ideal candidates will hold BICSI Certification and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the data and communications sector, demonstrating proficiency in Cat 5, 6, and fiber optics, including terminations.
- Candidates must have a solid understanding of voice, data, and security installations and experience managing projects of varying sizes.
- Successful candidates will be required to pass a drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and background investigation.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to fostering project process improvements.
- Ability to embody and promote the Company culture and mission to all stakeholders.
- Serve as the Company representative for interactions with client representatives.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be capable of working at heights, using ladders, and in confined spaces, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
- Visual acuity to distinguish colors, read small print, and hear audible signals such as dial tones is essential.
- Willingness to travel within the designated branch or regional territory as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required.
- At least five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical field is necessary.
- A minimum of six (6) months of supervisory or managerial experience is required.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to interpret blueprints and other project documentation, including specifications and quality requirements.
- Familiarity with universal communications color codes is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and MS Project) is required.
- Candidates must meet the Company’s minimum driving standards.
