Job Title: Associate, Investigations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate, Investigations to join our Advisory Practice in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented and collaborative individual with a strong track record in managing US, international, and multijurisdictional investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and directly support senior investigators on complex matters, including corporate fraud and white collar crime, asset tracing, litigation support, market entry, and whistleblower FCPA investigations.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in one or more areas, such as investigative litigation support, asset tracing, commercial fraud investigations, multi-jurisdictional investigations, reputational due diligence, or a specific region or sector.
  • Collaborate with senior investigative practitioners on commercial fraud, supply chain theft, insider threat, DDOS attack, adversarial campaign, and whistleblower investigations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the firm's senior management team, presenting oral and written findings and producing high-quality narrative reports.
  • Gather and interpret confidential human-source intelligence within specified time frames and budgets.
  • Process and store sensitive information, including PII, in accordance with Information Management System policies.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience conducting investigations for commercial clients and/or professional services firms.
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, regional studies, business, or a related area of study required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Foreign language proficiency preferred, but not required (Arabic, Russian, or Mandarin).
