  • Proven ability to lead project teams of varying sizes.
  • Prior experience in IT within the public health sector, particularly in managing IT projects.
  • Experience in handling issues, scope, quality, escalations, and risks effectively.
  • A successful track record of managing IT projects while collaborating with both business and IT teams.
  • Proficient in standard project management tools and methodologies, with a strong command of Microsoft Project and PMI methodologies.
  • Experience in managing vendors and contracts for large-scale IT projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to lead meetings, manage project teams, and communicate effectively across all project levels.
  • Self-motivated with sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Previous experience in managing large-scale, enterprise-wide projects utilizing Microsoft technologies.
  • Background in process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in developing requests for proposals or bids.
  • Familiarity with healthcare research, planning, and financial management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policy interpretation, development, and implementation.

Research Skills:
  • Experience in analyzing regulatory authorities, legislative actions, and CMS guidelines.
