Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Worker to join our team at Phoenix. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our custodial services, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct daily inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that equipment is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to custodial staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management, ensuring that the workplace is safe and healthy for all employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a custodial or facilities management role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Physical stamina to perform the duties of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
