**Minimum Requirements**
Graduate from an approved School of Professional Nursing
Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing
Two (2) years' experience as a Critical Care Nurse preferred
Maintain current BLS certification
ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained current

**Job Summary**
As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for prepping and recovering patients pre/post cath, performing moderate sedation, and recording vital signs. You will maintain continuity of care for patients while they are in the cardiac cath lab, prepare charts for procedures, and operate POC testing as required. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain calm in critical situations, foster an environment of collaboration and respect, and maintain a positive approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
