The successful candidate will operate CNC Vertical Mill machinery during the second shift, ensuring precision and quality in every task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mill machines, following established programs and making necessary adjustments independently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards, minimizing scrap and rework.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow machinists and quality assurance teams to produce components that adhere to specified tolerances.
  • Maintain compliance with federal regulations, including ITAR and EAR, throughout all operations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying issues and contributing to solutions.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Regular on-site attendance is crucial for this position.
  • Must be legally authorized to access U.S. government-controlled technology.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Prolonged standing and bending are required.
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all areas of the machinery.
  • Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times.
