About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager II to join our team at Wanzek. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and managing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed within assigned schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with company safety and procedural policies.
  • Supervise construction workers and foremen, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Manage project costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and monitoring of expenses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of construction industry experience, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
