Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting
    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including SEC filings, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage the company's insurance policies and provide financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team to achieve departmental and company goals.
    • Coach, develop, and retain top talent within the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other stakeholders to establish and achieve financial objectives.
    • Provide financial analysis and support to the leadership team and other departments.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Manage the annual budget preparation initiative, including the development of forward pricing rates.
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years of related experience with increasing levels of financial and accounting management.
    • 5+ years of experience in a VP or senior-level role over more than 3 subsidiaries at once.
  • Skills
    • Expert experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, online meeting platforms, and web collaboration tools.
    • Expert experience with Deltek Costpoint software and Federal contract financial reporting requirements.
  • Other Requirements
    • Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with administrative features of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365 products, and web collaboration tools.
