Position Overview:
At Dogtopia, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Canine Training Specialist. This position is crucial in providing exceptional training services for dogs in our daycare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing tailored training programs that meet the unique needs of each dog and their owner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding service to both pets and their owners.
  • Provide a range of training services, including obedience training, behavior modification, and socialization.
  • Conduct personalized training sessions focused on the specific requirements and objectives of dog owners.
  • Create individualized training plans based on the distinct traits and behaviors of each dog.
  • Instruct on fundamental commands, leash etiquette, and appropriate conduct in various settings.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to promote desired behaviors while discouraging negative ones.
  • Evaluate and track the progress of dogs throughout training sessions, making necessary adjustments.
  • Inform dog owners about effective training strategies and offer continuous support and guidance.
  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, client details, and progress evaluations.
  • Promote and sell training packages and daycare options.

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Training certification is required.
  • A minimum of 300 hours of hands-on dog training experience.
  • Preferred experience of 3 or more years in dog training.
