Position Overview:
The individual in this position will address critical data and analytical requests at the program and service line levels, spanning various functional areas. This role involves engaging in process enhancement initiatives, such as system-wide data governance, including the development of standardized definitions and data capture methodologies. The analyst will collaborate in the creation of dashboards, reports, data files, and financial and market analysis reports as needed, acting as the liaison for Business Planning & Development with both Information Services and Marketing & Communications.
Qualifications:
Education:
1) A Bachelor's degree in health management, business, statistics, data science, computer science/engineering, or a related field.
2) A Master's degree in health administration or business administration is preferred.
Experience:
1) A minimum of five years' experience in data manipulation and visualization, research methodologies, applied statistics, and/or business intelligence solutions.
2) Experience in drafting pro formas, business plans, and similar documents.
3) Proficiency in compiling intricate and comprehensive financial, clinical, and/or market analyses.
4) Familiarity with computer programming, database management, and systems integration is preferred.
5) Previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1) Understanding of business intelligence solutions and dashboard development is preferred.
2) Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing and SQL-based database engines is preferred.
3) Ability to take initiative and demonstrate effective project management skills.
4) Capability to work independently and efficiently.
