Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Job Description

Allegiance Mobile Health is seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Candidate to join our team. As an EMT, you will provide direct patient care, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, and work collaboratively with other emergency responders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care according to competencies and protocols
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours a day
  • Drive emergency vehicles in various road conditions
  • Interact respectfully with outside agencies and provide excellent customer service
  • Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports and documentation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently
  • Customer service skills

Work Schedule:

Classes will be held during the week (M-F). Clinicals will be scheduled after course work is complete. Once certification is received, the ambulance position can work a variety of schedules, including 8-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, 24-hour shifts, and 48-hour shifts.
