Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Trained Medication Aide (TMA) to join our team at Interim HealthCare Staffing. As a TMA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to seniors in assisted living and memory care facilities in the Cambridge and North Metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their care plans
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to the facility staff
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry
  • Graduation from a Trained Medication Course of at least 48 hours
  • Minimum of 1 year of Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks
  • Ability to communicate in English in verbal and written form
  • Able to complete charting in electronic medical records systems
