As a Staff Physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in an office setting, as well as courtesy rounds for patients in local hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care in an office setting
  • Courtesy rounds for patients in local hospitals and skilled nursing facilities
  • Home health visits for homebound patients, if necessary
  • Participation in community events as UHealth ambassadors
  • Care coordination and facilitation
  • Proper documentation of patient encounters in EPIC
  • Prompt communication of results via telephone, electronic messaging, and/or letters

As a member of our team, you will be expected to effectively communicate and work with clinical and non-clinical staff members throughout the enterprise to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Requirements:
  • Current American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification
  • At least 10 years of ambulatory care practice experience in an Executive Health, Concierge Medicine, and/or General Internal Medicine setting
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Effective communication, sound customer service skills, and prompt responsiveness
  • Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, and high levels of professionalism
