We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Wound Care Coordinator - RN. This is a part-time position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $34-$45.

About the Role

As a Wound Care Coordinator - RN, you will be responsible for leading and integrating a fully developed Skin Health and Wound management program in collaboration with nursing center management. You will also support central supply as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products, and oversee durable medical equipment related to the prevention and management of wounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and integrate a patient-centered team approach for skin health and wound care
  • Support central supply with clinical expertise for skin, wound, and incontinent products
  • Oversee durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and management
  • Collaborate with nursing center management to develop and implement skin health and wound management programs
Requirements
  • RN license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval)
  • Completion of Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire
  • Commitment to attend monthly support calls
  • National accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or commitment to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Strong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team
  • Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for the interprofessional team in wound management
  • Knowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products
  • Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, PowerPoint skills
