Account Manager (Travelport Level: Senior Associate) | United States

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts and execute growth and share of wallet initiatives for top-tier Enterprise clients in NORAM.
  • Develop frameworks to visualize complex contracts and coordinate activities to track performance and delivery.
  • Represent the face of the contract across the organization, orchestrating frequent cadence with internal teams and resources.
  • Build key stakeholder relationships and ensure required notifications, key deadlines, and deliverables are effectively communicated and executed.
  • Identify risks and take preventative measures to mitigate, ensuring compliance and awareness of expected misses.
  • Proactively engage with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver on key objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Share best-in-class processes and templates across the Global Agency Sales Organization.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date account plans, achieving buy-in with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years working experience in a business-to-business environment, preferably with a travel technology or software company.
  • High degree of self-motivation, confidence, and assertiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence and assertiveness.
  • Ability to interpret and articulate contractual clauses.
  • Strong commercial understanding of the Travelport business model, core drivers, and technology requirements.
  • Strong functional/technical knowledge of the Travelport platform.
  • Understanding of the travel sector, including Loyalty Travel, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and Travel Management Companies (TMCs).

Salary Target/Range: $75,000-$80,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
