About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Chemical and Alcohol Dependency Counselor to join our team at Ridgeview Institute Smyrna. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to individuals struggling with chemical dependency, substance abuse, or addictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in compliance with The Joint Commission and CMS standards of care.
  • Assess and identify the psychosocial, educational, developmental, and behavioral functioning of patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Conduct educational, therapeutic, and support groups to promote healthy coping mechanisms and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a clinical-related mental health field.
  • Experience in dual diagnosis, 12-step programs, and substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • CPR/First Aid and CPI Training.

  • Competitive salary range: $42,000.00 to $54,000.00 annually.
