Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the design, development, and execution of technical enhancements that bolster manufacturing reliability, process efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage engineering and technical services, process regulation, capital strategy, and support systems to align resources with organizational objectives.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects in engineering, formulating both immediate and long-term enhancement strategies, with or without capital investment.
  • Promote sustainability through effective energy management and initiatives aimed at reducing packaging waste.
  • Handle the financial components of various projects.
  • Establish the capability to effectively introduce new products, packaging, and processes to sustain market competitiveness.
  • Champion initiatives related to fixed asset management, plant design and workflow optimization, compliance with FDA/GMP/AIB/SQF standards, safety protocols, and automation processes.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of technical operations is crucial.
  • Requires advanced management and business acumen, along with strong financial insight and familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential, alongside proficiency in technical and training capabilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related discipline is typically required, along with substantial managerial experience in a manufacturing context.
  • Experience with CMMS systems is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration, power distribution, and other facility systems is expected.
  • Proven experience in managing Maintenance Technicians is essential.
