Job Title: IT Business Solutions Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at RCM Life Sciences and IT; RCM Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our software development initiatives and driving business value through technology solutions.

Job Summary:

The IT Business Solutions Analyst will act as a bridge between project stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately developed and implemented. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and writing abilities, and a deep understanding of business information technology best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to determine business, functional, and technology requirements that support organizational business goals.
  • Documenting requirements and working with Product Owners, Developers, Project Managers, and QA Analysts to deliver business technology solutions.
  • Analysis and recommendation of innovative solutions to improve efficiency and quality of process, increase productivity, availability, and performance to aid in long-term strategic and operational goals.
  • Collaborating with the Product Owner, Stakeholders, and Delivery Team(s) to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitating sessions with all relevant stakeholders to drive clarity and agreement on requirements.
  • Oversight of the design of applications and the mapping of functional business requirements into technical requirements/agile stories.
  • Transition of services and oversight of application migration when appropriate, including documentation, communication, and approvals with all relevant units and business owners.
  • Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of assigned projects.
  • Incorporation of architecture and security requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong business analysis and project management skills (ideally 5+ years of BA experience).
  • Strong experience in gathering and defining requirements, analyzing/mapping business processes, supporting the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of solutions, services, products, and applications.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Good knowledge of business information technology best practices and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven track record of utilizing team-based approach to quickly and accurately resolve system/solution issues.
  • Strong understanding of system development, IT, and business process and their inter-relationship.
  • Capability to motivate others within a non-direct reporting structure to execute change.
  • Strong communication and writing skills on a business and technical level.
  • Strong skills in documentation for business and technology user audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
