Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and quality of medication dispensing, and promoting a positive and safe pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to patients.
  • Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and guidance to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Maintain confidential information and documentation, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure a positive and safe pharmacy environment, promoting a culture of patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on patient care and safety.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
