Job Summary

The Director of Regional Clinics will oversee the daily operations of assigned clinics, ensuring seamless management of staff, including physicians, advance practice providers, and clinical staff. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills to drive financial analysis and management, as well as long-term strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a cohesive leadership team, providing direction and support for assigned members.
  • Interpret policies, objectives, and operational procedures, representing them in a positive manner.
  • Coach and develop team members to their fullest potential, providing educational and developmental opportunities as needed.
  • Manage large and small-scale projects, exercising good project management discipline and rigor.
  • Build trust and foster collaboration and communication with physicians and advance practice providers to ensure quality patient care and services.
  • Direct and oversee the daily monitoring of compliance issues in assigned sites, investigating and applying appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Communicate updates in healthcare trends and compliance standards to staff, including governmental regulations, risk management guidelines, and coding and documentation requirements.
  • Serve as liaison between assigned clinics and external agencies.
  • Review and analyze the financial status of assigned clinics, including vendor relationships, overhead assessments, and general financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance department to prepare and implement clinic budgets, recommending funding based on thorough knowledge of policies, costs, and operating procedures.
  • Monitor and control clinic expenditures within budget, approving invoices for payment per accounts payable policy.
  • Coordinate the upkeep and maintenance of building, grounds, facilities, and equipment in a manner consistent with the highest standards of safety, sanitation, efficiency, and appearance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality concerning all correspondence and job-related activities.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through continuing education, seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
  • Travel to different clinic sites as needed to oversee daily operations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of four years relevant healthcare leadership experience, with at least one year occurring in a clinical setting.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver's license.
