Join Our Team as Vice Chair for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

The Department of Radiology at Duke Health is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Vice Chair for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. As a key member of the Departmental Executive Committee, this individual will work closely with the Chair and departmental Vice Chairs and Health System leaders to plan and execute initiatives that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities, approaches, and partnerships to support departmental objectives around faculty development and diversity.
  • Work closely with the Duke School of Medicine Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the Vice Dean for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and the community of EDI Vice Chairs and leaders within the School of Medicine.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce, including leadership development, faculty recruitment and retention, and faculty wellness and burnout mitigation.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to promote a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion within the Department of Radiology.

Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will be radiologists with fellowship training in a subspecialty of Radiology.
  • Minimum of seven years clinical experience and demonstrated success in leading diversity initiatives and leading physicians.
  • Rank and academic track at Duke will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
