Position Overview

The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to make quality radiographs of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This position requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs
  • Provide patient care in a timely, professional, and safe manner
  • Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, and emergency department
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology program required
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography required
