Procurement Excellence at Complete Filtration Resources, Inc.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to join our team at Complete Filtration Resources, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring compliance and efficiency in our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing: Issue and manage purchase orders for various projects, ensuring timely and accurate placement, tracking and monitoring the status of purchase orders, and providing updates as needed.
  • Vendor Relationships and Compliance: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, fostering effective communication and collaboration, evaluating and selecting vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance, and ensuring that all vendors comply with company policies, legal requirements, and contractual agreements.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate vendor payment terms, pricing, and warranty agreements to achieve optimal terms for the organization, reviewing and analyzing vendor contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Accuracy of Deliveries and Invoices: Monitor and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders and project requirements, review vendor invoices for accuracy, and ensure they align with purchase orders and delivery receipts, resolving discrepancies and issues with vendors in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, vendor agreements, and other procurement-related documentation, preparing and presenting reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and budgetary impacts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and supply chain management, staying current with industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to enhance procurement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent, Procurement Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
