About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Newport Healthcare. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing supervision and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist clients in working with groups and handling individual problems.
  • Set limits for behavior and create documentation of client progress.
  • Identify potential need for professional services and communicate findings to professional staff.
Requirements
  • H.S. Degree or GED required; bachelor's level degree in psychology, counseling or sociology preferred.
  • Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
