Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential and inpatient milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate therapeutic activity groups to promote client engagement and skill-building.
- Assist clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, including meal planning and nutrition education.
- Maintain a recovery-oriented environment by promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Provide general support and assistance to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks and emotional support.
- Current Basic Life Support / First Aid certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire.
- Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker's Permit obtaining within 14 days of employment.
- Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive.
- Medical - Blue Cross Blue Shield. Health benefits begin on the 1st of the month after start date Employees must work an average of 30 hours per week to be eligible.
