Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
- Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen in the clinic.
- Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests.
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately.
- Manage the provider/patient relationship.
- Receive and resolve patient complaints.
- Involve in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups.
- Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
- Perform other functions as required.
- Nurse Practitioner:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license
- ANCC certification required
- DEA license
- Physician Assistant:
- Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years of working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant
- Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners
- Up to $4100 worth of free health services per year
- Paid Malpractice Insurance, DEA license paid
- PTO, Sick leave
- Up-To-Date subscription
- No weekends or on-call duties
