Job Summary

Santa Fe Recovery Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. As a CNA, you will assist with patient care in our medically managed detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient recovery units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including vital sign measurement and recording
  • Monitor patients' behavior and health, and report any changes to medical residential services staff
  • Provide companionship and a compassionate ear to patients
  • Collect information about patients' conditions and treatment plans from nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, and other interdisciplinary behavioral health team members
  • Clean and sanitize patient areas
  • Oversee self-administration of patient medications and ensure proper medication dosages in alignment with prescriber's orders
  • Review patients' dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences and coordinate special diet requests with nursing staff and food services
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Must be able to pass internal Medical Associate Certification administered by SFRC
  • Valid and insurable Driver's License based on SFRC insurance standards
