Data Center Climate Expert

Munters, a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical processes, is seeking an experienced Data Center Climate Expert to join their team.
Job Summary: As a Data Center Climate Expert, you will travel to customer sites to start up, commission, and safely troubleshoot and repair data center equipment. This role requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage projects while onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty, and billable service on Munters' data center equipment and systems.
- Maintain and protect Munters' equipment and property.
- Respond promptly to all requests for service from customers or management.
- Provide customer training on Munters' equipment.
- Offer technical feedback on equipment using detailed field service reports.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in the mechanical field, specifically the HVAC field.
- Extensive knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, able to diagnose electrical issues with proficiency and record data.
- Knowledge of all safety procedures and requirements, including Arc flash, lockout/tag out, and other safety protocols.
- Extensive refrigeration knowledge, including pressure testing, evacuating, and charging systems without assistance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other site personnel, sales teams, and technical support staff.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy Work: Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting.
Work Conditions:
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, safety boots, hard hats, and hearing protection, as required.
- Willingness to travel and be away from home for several days at a time.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
