Contract Duration: 6+ months
As a vital member of the Media Engineering Operations Support Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional 24/7 remote assistance, addressing and managing various technological challenges that arise.
This role involves handling requests through multiple channels, including ticketing systems, emails, chat, phone communications, and automated notifications.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of operational tasks, such as:
- Providing support for cloud-based applications
- Conducting remote troubleshooting
- Managing password resets and access requests
- Provisioning and de-provisioning user accounts
- Coordinating with vendors
- Delivering training on applications and security protocols
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation
Daily activities will include prioritizing, resolving, escalating, and scheduling incoming internal technology support requests. You will collaborate with cross-functional technology and operational teams to ensure that requests are effectively routed and resolved, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
It is essential for the Support Specialist to set clear expectations with ticket requesters and ensure accurate logging of all ticket information.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Timely and proactive response to tickets in the team incident queue.
2. Escalation of issues to engineering, infrastructure, and leadership teams during significant incidents.
3. Acknowledgment of active infrastructure alerts and prompt assessment of severity and resolution.
4. Coordination of regular maintenance work with stakeholders and technical teams.
