We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our production maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our sophisticated machinery and specialized process equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement inspection and maintenance processes to ensure equipment is functioning reliably and meets process specifications.
- Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, including system diagnostics, repair, adjustment, and maintenance of specialized process equipment, machinery, or instruments.
- Participate in the introduction and application of new equipment developments, including repair techniques in maintenance engineering.
- Respond to production equipment emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records to identify and address recurring problems with equipment, machinery, or parts.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments to ensure compliance with production specifications or instructions.
- Maintain tools and repair equipment in good working order.
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years' related experience. Or an advanced degree and 3 years of related experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience with installation of capital manufacturing equipment and special test equipment.
- Experience with electro-mechanical devices.
- Good interpersonal skills, dependability, and ability to follow through on multiple concurrent assignments.
- Experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
- Experience in production equipment support, including knowledge of test probers, high vacuum systems, cryogenics, compressors, turbo pumps, etch and deposition systems, temperature control environmental chambers.
- Technical military training/experience.
