Job Title: Semiconductor Equipment Engineer

RTX is seeking a skilled Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to join our team in Goleta, CA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for implementing inspection and maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance condition of sophisticated machinery and specialized process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement inspection and maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance condition of sophisticated machinery and specialized process equipment.
  • Participate in the introduction and application of new application developments using repair techniques in maintenance engineering.
  • Respond to production equipment emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records to identify and address recurring problems with machinery, equipment, or parts.
  • Calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications or instructions.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years' related experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Experience with installation of Capital Manufacturing Equipment and Special Test equipment.
  • Experience with electro / mechanical devices.
  • Good interpersonal skill, be dependable and be able to follow through on multiple concurrent assignments.
