Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the daily functions of the department's scanning and file room operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient medical records.
- Collaborate with the HIM team to analyze, prepare, and scan medical record documents, maintaining the highest level of productivity and accuracy.
- Retrieve, deliver, and refile paper medical records as needed, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
- Perform quality assessments on scanned batches, making necessary edits before sending to auto-indexing in the document management system.
- Monitor scanning processes, maintain hardware, and escalate any issues as necessary.
- Process and update requests for paper records, utilizing the offsite storage warehouse record tracking system to locate and retrieve records.

- High School diploma or equivalent required; previous work in a healthcare area preferred.
- 1 year digital/electronic document imaging experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
- Able to work independently and in a group/team setting, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods while maintaining high concentration.
- Customer and patient-focused, with the ability to accurately identify and meet customer and patient needs.
