Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Property Manager to join our team at The RMR Group. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards and that our residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Assist the Regional Manager in maintaining the physical asset and maximizing financial returns in accordance with owner objectives.
  • Staff Supervision: Direct and coordinate activities involving office staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review weekly and monthly reports, market surveys, and advertising programs to inform business decisions.
  • Rental Applications and Leases: Review and approve rental applications and lease forms for accuracy and compliance with resident policy.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Develop and implement marketing and leasing programs to attract and retain residents.
  • Cash Management: Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash receipts, including rent collections and daily deposits.
  • Inventory and Budgeting: Maintain an accurate inventory of tangible assets and assist in preparing the annual budget.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze budget variances and submit written findings to the Regional Manager, along with monthly owner reports.
  • Communication: Maintain good relations with residents through quality customer service and consistent application of company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three to five years related experience as an on-site Assistant Manager.
  • Certifications: ARM, CAM, or RAM certification preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual abilities (written and verbal) in the Spanish language are required.
  • Computer Skills: Strong proficiency with computer software, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, YARDI, or other property management software.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and application, familiarity with NAA Lease and Addendums, Fair Housing/ADA regulations and application, OSHA & EPA requirements for property management industry.
