About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Related Management Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional service to our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep our properties in excellent condition
  • Complete service requests in a timely and efficient manner, interacting with residents and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Coordinate the completion of resident and management service requests, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy, adhering to established timeframes and quality standards
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues promptly and reporting to management
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency maintenance repairs, providing prompt and effective solutions
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management
  • Ability to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to exceeding expectations through exceptional service and a positive attitude
  • Determination to continuously improve and adapt to new challenges
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect
