About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced surgical community specialist to join our team at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. This clinical faculty position will involve a 90% commitment to the Community Surgery Service of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing, instructing, and supervising veterinary students in the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will also provide health care and service to in-house, shelter, and referral cats and dogs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to contribute to the advancement of primary surgical care within the VMTH, as well as locally and nationally. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain clinical competence and strive for recognition in a focus area of clinical practice.

The estimated salary for this position is $186,600 to $318,600 per year, commensurate with experience.
