Responsibilities:

The RN will report to the Unit Director/Manager and is accountable for the overall nursing practice during the assigned shift. In the absence of the Unit Director/Manager, the RN will report to the Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator. The nurse will provide professional nursing care based on contemporary nursing knowledge, utilizing the nursing process which includes:

  • Assessing patient needs
  • Developing a tailored plan of care
  • Implementing nursing interventions
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of care and treatments
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior RN experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and act as a liaison between patients and staff.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Must meet the American Heart Association's standards for Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew certification every two years.

Job ID: 70192. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amounts to be determined.
