About the Job

LMK Recruiting is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support our digital transformation and enhance our cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions to support our daily operations.

This role involves working closely with IT and research teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support and management of infrastructure, including 3rd party hosted data center and cloud-based systems.
  • Assist with the creation of the migration process of legacy systems to the company's cloud environments.
  • Perform maintenance, upgrades, and optimization as needed.

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of data center designs and architectures.
  • Basic business contingency scenarios.
  • Best industry practices for building cloud infrastructure as a code.
  • Various 3rd party tools/products available for monitoring and security.
  • Networking (TCP, HTTP) and security (firewalls IP table, SSH).
  • AWS Cloud services (VPC's, IAM, SNS, API Gateway, CloudHSM, KMS, Shield, Macie).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Experience

  • 3+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience.
  • 2+ years of Cloud Technology experience, preferably AWS.
