High-Tech Game Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled High-Tech Game Operations Specialist to join our team at Puttshack. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality of our unique game technology.

Job DescriptionThe High-Tech Game Operations Specialist will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the functionality of our unique game technology
- Troubleshooting and repairing technical issues promptly and efficiently
- Working closely with the venue team to resolve technical issues
- Ensuring a positive and engaging atmosphere and guest experience on the course
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years' experience in technical support or maintenance
- Proficient with computer systems, technology, and PC hardware installations
- Ability to learn unique software and hardware systems that support the game
- Familiarity with technical documentation; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with electronic circuitry and testing equipment
- Skilled in practical application of electronics and mechanics
- Experience with using hand tools and small power tools
- Possess a guest-focused mindset; provide an exceptional experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and guests
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Flexibility to work varied schedules to include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends
We would love to see:
- Proven experience in technical support and maintenance in a gaming or entertainment environment
- Strong problem-solving skills down to the component level and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
- Experience with small electronic and mechanical repairs
- Familiarity with Ethernet data infrastructure
- Soldering experience
- Basic understanding of electromechanical devices
This role may require:
- Standing and/or walking for extended periods
- Working in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Moving about the facility and standing for long periods
- Kneeling, stooping, bending, and twisting frequently
- Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds

The salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
