Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a flexible work schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Prepare and serve food and beverage items consistently according to established hotel standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and optimal working condition, adhering to preventative maintenance protocols.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, and labor regulations applicable to kitchen operations.
Plan, prepare, and present quality dishes for breakfast service, ensuring adherence to menu specifications and plating guidelines. Uphold cleanliness and organization in all work areas and equipment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a similar culinary role.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to food presentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification and food safety training preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices, preparation techniques, and nutrition principles. Safe food handling certification is a plus.
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests, management, and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require prolonged standing and repetitive motions.
Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
