Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project plans, bills of quantities, and other relevant documentation to accurately estimate costs.
  • Conduct research, source, negotiate, and secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Analyze data that may influence project costs.
  • Identify financial, technical, and operational risks associated with projects.
  • Prepare and present detailed budgets, reports, and project plans.
  • Visit project sites to collect necessary information.
  • Stay informed about the latest regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Provide insights on bidding decisions for projects.
  • Collaborate closely with key project team members and act as a liaison for clients and suppliers.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and generate reports.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical estimation or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficient in presenting proposals and project details.
  • Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong skills in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, primarily within the service areas.
  • Must successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
