  • Reviewing bid packages and equipment specifications.

  • Developing preliminary engineering details on feasibility, cost, and scheduling for projects.
  • Supervising, hosting, and coordinating construction activities of contractors.
  • Preparing cost estimates for assigned projects.
  • Tracking and controlling assigned budgets.
  • Reporting on the status of assigned projects.
  • Reviewing the status of project development with assigned contacts.
  • Developing and/or designing manufacturing layouts and researching options for process flow, product assembly, and equipment purchase.

Discipline-Specific Functions:

  • Experience with power, lighting, and grounding design, including typical voltage levels of 480VAC, 277VAC, and 120VAC.
  • Collaborating with electrical designers for design and updates of drawing types, including Single Line Diagrams, Power Panel Schedules, Power Plans, Lighting Plans, Motor Control elementaries, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules, etc.
  • Specification and purchase of low-voltage power distribution equipment.
  • Responding to questions from electrical contractors and assisting with startup testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of engineering and project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Functional knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $112,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment, if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in the posting.
