Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Seward Medical Center in Seward, Alaska. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a specific group of residents, including supervision of team members and coordination of referrals to other clinical support teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Supervise and mentor team members, including Shahbazim, to ensure high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Coordinate referrals to other clinical support teams, including physicians and families, to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Serve as the point of contact for elder information and provide education to residents and families
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months of Nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center)
  • Supervision/leadership experience
