This position is pivotal in leading a skilled team dedicated to delivering technical services in areas such as modeling, simulation, technical analysis, and agile software development.

This role offers a vibrant work atmosphere where you will engage with cutting-edge simulation technologies and collaborate with software engineering professionals, analysts, and military Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The focus of this position is on the research, development, integration, and enhancement of modeling and simulation capabilities for both constructive and virtual applications, with an eye towards expanding our team's expertise into new domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of over 10 employees, encompassing personnel management, business development, contract execution, and office administration.
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, including responding to customer inquiries and proposals.
  • Oversee personnel management, which includes recruiting, hiring, and ensuring staff retention while addressing any operational challenges.
  • Ensure successful contract execution by monitoring technical, schedule, and cost performance to maintain high customer satisfaction and compliance with contract stipulations.
  • Collaborate with the broader Air and Space Technology Sector and DCS Corporation to leverage synergies for staff development and organizational growth.
  • Manage office operations, including administration personnel and the security program.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the work.
  • A minimum of a High School diploma with 14 years of experience in a technical field, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Applicants must undergo a U.S. Government background investigation and meet eligibility criteria for classified information access, including an Active SECRET clearance from day one.
  • Experience with NGA or the U.S. / DoD Intelligence Community is highly valued.
  • Proven experience in business development, including business capture, proposal writing, and cost estimation.
  • Experience in delivering and managing technical services for the U.S. Government.
  • Strong proficiency in standard office tools and corporate information systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing software development or research teams.
  • Candidates from the metropolitan area are preferred.
  • Background or training in geospatial sciences.
  • Familiarity with DoD Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) markets.
  • Expertise in software development (C/C++, Java), modeling and simulation, and operations analysis.
  • An advanced degree (MS or PhD) is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • TOP SECRET clearance is preferred.
