Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at I Am Boundless, Inc. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the management of health care services, providing training and observations related to medication administration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall management of health services, including identifying health and wellness needs and developing plans to meet these needs.
  • Serve as the medical liaison with individuals served, families, physicians, and significant others.
  • Provide training and observations related to medication administration, including administering G-tube nutrition and insulin.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including DODD and ODH standards.
  • Participate in completing Plans of Correction and providing medical and wellness input to individuals served, team members, and families/guardians.
Requirements
  • Current and in good standing LPN License with the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
  • First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; or the ability to become certified in CPR/FA within 60 days of hire.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer).
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year's experience working as an LPN with individuals with behavioral health conditions or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and may also involve working in MSY/ICF/Respite homes where the individual will be exposed to virus, disease, and infection from patients and specimens.

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching, as well as lifting and supporting patients.
